Ski Then Sip // Good Spots for a Glass of Wine Après-Ski

Après-ski is the life for me!

If you and I are friends, you probably know that I’m a far cry from an avid skier. The truth is, I much prefer basking in the sun or visiting a quaint village to hitting the slopes. One thing I do love, however, is some après-ski time! A glass of chewy cabernet, a warm fire, and a beautiful mountain view sounds like a little piece of heaven, doesn’t it?

Something for the senses

You don’t have to be the world’s best skier to enjoy the view from atop a mountain. Just about every ski area I’ve visited has at least one restaurant or bar with amazing views, and a cozy atmosphere. Even if you aren’t much of a ski bunny, you can definitely enjoy a glass of wine (or your cocktail of choice) with your traveling companions while taking in the spectacular scenery. And there are worse ways to entertain yourself while your friends and family are on the slopes, right?

The folks over at Wine Spectator just released their list of the best après-ski spots at some of the most popular ski destinations in the U.S. and Canada. Since most of the ski trips I book are in Europe, I thought I’d share their list with you. I’m super curious to hear if any of your favorite spots were mentioned in the article! And if you have one to add to the list, please let me know!! You can shoot me an email or post it on our Facebook page.
